Hawkhurst in Bloom is part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom initiative which promotes projects throughout the country actively encouraging the improvement of our environment. HiB was an initiative proposed by Hawkhurst Village Volunteers, which was supported by the Parish Council with a Parish Council Representative being a member of the Hawkhurst in Bloom committee. Hawkhurst in Bloom focuses on creating and maintaining a series of floral displays situated around the Village centre.
Our Committee Members
Our committee members and volunteers are made up of a group of residents from the village and surrounding areas who share our common interest in gardening. Hawkhurst in Bloom provides a fantastic opportunity to socialize with members of the community while enjoying working on various projects in the area. Together, we work to maintain and enhance the beauty of Hawkhurst, helping to create and maintain the beautiful and picturesque village for both residents and visitors.
